This hits me in the gut every time I think about going to larger wheels/tires. I've become way to conscious of mpg.

Stick with 17" wheels and go up one size on tires. It will barely hurt it. Research tire and wheel weights if your that worried about it. My BFG's are heavier tires compared to others in the same size. Or BFGT haha is what I should call them. Adding a lift and changing the offset a lot is where it hurts.
