Im thinking that may be why Ford replaced them.I have the old style. Thanx
When you ran the bleed, you don't open any of the bleeder screws, just let the truck go through an ABS bleed cycle. Is that correct? My wife has a 2021 Ranger The dealer sold us a truck that had shitty brakes they would go to the floor.
Brought it back 3 times and still mushy They say it's stopping 2 years later I was tired of these brakes . I find out that it needed the ABS bleed .
I got Forscan and ran the ABS bleed a couple times Now it's real good almost too good![]()
That's what's under my hood. I have a '24 that was built in Dec of '24.Upper right. Real easy, No round drum behind it.

Same issue with the 24’ Ranger Lariat.Watching......
My 24 Lariat FX4 Ranger is the same. I have to almost stand on pedal to get it to stop. If you resolve issue Bulldog36526, let me know.
Can't find them for a 2024 ranger . Maybe I'm not looking it up right. Can you find them ?EBC Yellow pads![]()
Yup don't let any fluid outWhen you ran the bleed, you don't open any of the bleeder screws, just let the truck go through an ABS bleed cycle. Is that correct?
You can ask EBC directly. I ran those on my f150 best pads ever EBC recommends off road onlyCan't find them for a 2024 ranger . Maybe I'm not looking it up right. Can you find them ?
You need to take yours to the dealer to refresh the EBB brake system.Watching......

Brake pads do need to be broken in with no panic stops so they get hot. Otherwise they will glaze over and never be good. Ive got 600 miles on mine and still are taking it easy on them. They should be fine now.Have a 2025. I noticed that the brakes are not very responsive as well. I have less than 200 miles on it so I thought maybe there's something that needs breaking-in (no pun.) If it doesn't clear up in the break-in period I will probably take it in to get checked out.
You sorta want it to go right that way it's heading onto the shoulder and not the other way. Sure wouldn't want to be in left lane with a 60 ton tractor trailer barreling down at ya.in quick stops, mine tends to pull to one side. Im not sure if its one more than the other, but right seems to be predominant.
my tires are all equal on pressure, but it still happens.
Otherwise I can agree that you have to be dominant with your brakes if you want to stop quick,
