My father in law has an fx4 xlt and i have a 2wd stx. We have the same brand and model of tire, goodyear wrangler terrain, something like that

The difference is his were 255/65/18 and mine are 255/70/17 so the difference is shorter sidewall so the tires don't flex as much. So they should actually stop better in fx4 wheels.

It's because Ford put cheap organic pads on the truck. I'm going to upgrade mine to semi metallic pads.

That's the consensus on ceramic pads? I ran ceramics on my focus and they were amazing. I loved the lack of dust on my wheels and corrosion left behind if not cleaned regularly. I was going to swap to ceramic pads but I guess I will do more research before making that decision.

If anyone has any experience on our trucks let me know.
