17! Oof!

With my heavy right foot thatā€™ll be 14-15 for me and my short commute.

Fingers crossed the tank is bigger than 17 gallons.

I wonder how much help a 255/75-17 All season would improve the fuel economy on the Raptor. In the Bronco its like 10% better mpg with the 2.7 between the 285 factory tire and the 255. And a set of All seasons would murder the KO2 in wet braking performance.

But that wouldnā€™t look as cool and why buy a Raptor if you arenā€™t looking cool?

I'd keep the factory tires on standby for cruising the Starbucks parking lot.
Gotta Baja across the speed bumps in the Costco parking lot.

Iā€™m happy with 18 on the highway. Almost none of my vehicles get that, my 18 Shelby raptor gets 14 mpg, and my 13 Shelby baja700 gets about 6 mpg. Even my 21 Jeep JL rubicon only gets 16 mpg on the highway. Definitely gonna be putting some rotopax on it when I get the topper camper put on, or a bigger tank if it doesnā€™t hurt the off road capabilities. Iā€™ll also take a hit by putting more aggressive tires on, and hauling my overland gear, but thatā€™s all perfectly acceptable. Hereā€™s a tip, get your own fuel tanks. I have a 1000 gallon red dye diesel and 520 gallon 91 octane tank on my property. I save a lot buying in bulk, and Iā€™m never pestered by crackheads at a gas station telling me they also had a fastback mustang back in the day while trying to touch my damn paint. I donā€™t miss gas stations lol.

Same here, that's about what I used to get in the Dakota but it's probably worse than that now with as old as it is. Definitely better than the 9 mpg I get in the CTS-V. If I want good gas mileage I'll just ride the gixxer lol.

Now who's going to make it worse with e85 like me? šŸ˜

Check off one more item on the list for getting the 2024 Ranger to market, The EPA has released the fuel economy numbers. At least something was getting done during the strike!

If the 2024 Ranger averages 20 or more MPG I will be happy with that but a friend with the prior generation Ranger tells me 19 mpg is the number he sees and the dealer tells me that the Rangers don't get anywhere near the EPA rating. I rarely get less than 20 mpg with my 2021 F150 with the 2.7 engine but it is what it is, I'm getting a new Ranger.
