2024 Ranger Raptor Scheduling Only This Week (7/13/23) for Production Weeks 9/4 - 9/25

Still all quiet on my front. I did just shoot an e-mail off to my contact at the dealership to see if they can see a preview for anything

My order code is G800 I believe, but I don't think it has anything to do with selection at Ford.

Order numbers are Dealer specific.. some use sales person's initials + a number, some are just numbers, etc.. Nothing to do with Ford directly.

That is correct, I have several orders in for my RXLT as I learned the one dealer route limits your chances with my Maverick ordeal. I specifically asked about the order numbers. They are just internally generated dealership numbers done "just the way they do it." Nothing to do with selection.

This is how I read this.

The way I read it is that the sales guy honestly didn’t know. Perhaps the priority codes were not communicated properly to the order manager. And Ford just pulled the lowest priority code. Sounds like he’s going to get the rep involved and try and fix it. I wouldn’t be so harsh with him. Catch MPR flies with honey.

Nappy, yes, good news if he gets a "scheduled" e-mail. Otherwise, from my experience, there is a long "disapointing" wait ahead of him.

I agree on the salesman honestly not knowing judging from his responses. It is still annoying, as I believe Snkrjeff020 wrote in an earlier post he tried to warn the salesman about this scenario. But at least the responses were polite. (although, to be honest, I don't want to be the one that had to teach him at my expense). So, the "catch the MPR with honey" is probably the best tactic at this point.

My dealer said their first allocation got scheduled and Ford told them to expect the second allocation (mine) to come soon. Getting exciting.

They haven’t sold their first one yet but they are shooting for markup

This is exciting news if Ford decided to issue more allocations sooner than expected.

I just wonder how many dealers will call and tell us that we can now put in a retail order. I called my regular dealer on Wednesday when the dealer where I have my stock order wasn't answering me. They had been promising me their stock order, but that never happened. I was able to put in a retail order and actually get the color I wanted. First one to schedule wins... I suspect it will be my retail order.

That’s all I want to do. Mine doesn’t want to put in the order until the allocation is actually available. Bronco Raptor purchase was the same way for me and I have it so no complaints just wondering if there truly any chance to see it this year at all. I’m in no rush just eager.

It is suppose to go first date, then time stamp. But, obviously that means nothing. The response "Not sure, I did not get a accurate reponse I wanted to hear," Is gaslighting word salad.

My order number is in the 600s and I was the first to place an order at my dealership. Still no updates or email. SMH

This is where I'm at: Scheduling seems to be still trickling in today. If first production is in mid September, then there's still plenty time to be scheduled. Panic time for me is hitting mid September and still not being scheduled, in which case I'd likely then have missed first production (which I was promised). At that point I'd just look into a used Gen 3 F150 Raptor or something, I dunno.

I think these things will just be getting sporadically scheduled over the next month and half
