I'm checking to see what people choose for their build or purchase.

I see some of the info in people's profiles and signature lines, but I thought this would be interesting!

Wanted Pepper Red (RRaptor color), but they got rid of it and replaced it with dust brown and swamp vomit green. 😂 So went with Velocity Blue.

I needed a truck quick and velocity blue was the only Lariat they had on the lot. I wasn't sure if I liked it or not at first but now I love it. If they had a Raptor on the lot (LOL) I would have taken that in any color.

Ordered Azure Gray but changed my mind and went with Desert Sand.

Wish Ford offered more colors especially on the Raptor. Some high impact colors would be nice. I can remember way back in the day when Ford offered 30 or 40 colors each year. Of course they didn't have these creative names like they today. Colors were simply red, light red, dark red and the color I chose dark walnut. Back then I can imagine there was one guy somewhere coming up with names for new colors. Today there probably is a highly paid team working on different nondiscriptive names for the color gray.

Dealer by me had two 2025 Lariats. One was Carbonized Gray and the other was Marsh Gray. Carbonized Gray seems very generic to me, so I got something a little different with the Marsh Gray. It looks sooooo good in direct sunlight. Second choice was Azure Gray Metallic.

My wife picked the carbonized grey we have. Its exactly the same gun metal metalic my previous nissan titan was, and i geuss she picked it to match her jeep.

If she hadn't gone along, i would have gotten white.

If they offered Antimatter-blue, I would have been all over it. However, I'm a year behind so I ended up with Cactus Gray and they still don't have AB. Oh well, guess I'll just "rattle" can it

If I had to choose again though - black, blue or the green.....prob blue

Ford made a huge mistake dropping Cactus Gray. Like why? It was a very pretty off color gray and was pretty popular. It got replaced with marsh gray and desert sand which to me are puke colors. I went with Velocity Blue since it stands out and isn't dull like the rest of the color pallete.

Don't get me wrong, I love my CG color. I like the way it changes hues depending on weather and such. That's what grabbed me on the AB color (blue to black). The Broncos look awesome in CG. I almost got a Bronco, but the interior was kinda blah for me and it just seemed loud inside.

PS: Agreed on the marsh and desert colors.....eh

PSS: I do like the carbonized gray, but it seems everyone has one and i wanted to be different

Colors are a subjective choice and we all have our opinions. That said, I doubt Ford made a "huge mistake" in dropping the cactus gray. I agree that it's a nice color and was popular, but I've yet to hear anyone say, "I wanted to buy a Ranger but they dropped the shiny primer color so I bought a crappy taco instead", let alone multitudes of folks saying such.

I had a very tough time with picking a color. Loved the way the red, silver, and cactus gray looked but of course those had been discontinued.

I went back and forth between shelter green, carbonized gray, velocity blue, and Oxford white. I chose the white as it looks super clean and makes the black accents on the car stand out more.

can’t go wrong with any color on the truck except for the poop and vomit colors…imo those won’t age well.

I prefer a metallic paint (with no upcharge), so it was between carbonized gray and velocity blue for me. Ended up with velocity blue as the truck was available with exactly the options I wanted. Now, what I really wanted was eruption green. That color looks so good on the Broncos.

Not sure about the poop comments but so far my Desert Sand Raptor gets lots of compliments. People love to color. On the Raptor with the graphics package Desert Sand is awesome.
Was tired on white vehicles, have two in the driveway now. Red was my first choice but Ford screwed us on that one. So with a limited pallet I choose Desert Sand. If I get tired of it I can always do a wrap.
