Why the heck do they have 6 shades of gray?? Even desert sand is like an antique white! To ditch azure gray for another white?? Really?

It's because all these dealers like ordering these earth tone Raptors. Look how few Blue and Red Ranger Raptors were actually stock ordered by dealers, thus Ford thinks these earth tones sell better.

I that Blue is the only bright color they have left.

The Red was only offered on the 2024 model Raptors.

There is still a red offered on the other Trims but no more Red Raptors.

I am just glad, and I almost feel sort of lucky, that they seldom jack with White, which is the color I aways buy. White is the number one sold color in pretty much every brand of truck there is. So I doubt they ever screw with white.
I think white is typically the number one sold color of vehicles in general.

That blue is sharp looking, so was the Red when they had offered a Red one.

Not 100% true. Though dealers do order what they think will sell best when they can, ford also gives them lists each week of availability in terms of commodities, including paint colors. So if they want to receive their ordered inventory timely, they must order from the commodities available or suggested by Ford.

Lots of dealers are disappointed with the color offerings. They had no influence on them whatsoever.

Got an email from my dealer that the 25 I have on order is going to get flipped to a 26. The waiting continues.

Whites easy to "look clean" longer. Car is typically cooler in hot areas and hides minor scratches great. Its def number one sold color. I have a white golf r. Imo whites boring. You get no real enjoyment doing heavy detailing and polishing vs just a wash it looks the same. Most people dont want to touch their cars more than they need to. Enthusiast are usually different so we prefer colored cars. We buy waxes and appreciate staring at the vehicle. I think they are doing an injustice to the rr with these colors. But the white rr i saw did look awesome id buy a red one in a second.

I was there years ago, every new vehicle I bought had to be black, till I was in my 30s and black probably is one of the most difficult colors to keep looking perfect. I did enjoy it back in those days.

Older I got less I enjoyed it. So for the most part I started buying either white or still occasionally black. I still have 1 black car. It’s a garage queen, sets under a dust cover, hooked to battery tender.lol
If I don’t drive it I don’t have to clean it sort of thing. lol

I hate Avalanche gray, never thought a color that looks like the factory forgot to paint it and left it in primer was a good color. They really needed a Red on the Raptor like the rest of the world has on their Raptor Rangers, not another flat color gray.

Agree. Drove a Marsh Gray yesterday and they had a f150 or SD in Avalanche sitting on the lot. I was going to wait for a 26, but after seeing Avalanche in person I decided to buy a 25. Def do not like that color.

Harley Davidson actually did that a few years back with a satin clay pot red / primer red and a satin gray . And there was guys that bought them . But i agree with you when I see these two colors .

2026 Toyota Taco has a limited pallete

and pro gets three color configurations

i just don’t think red sells that much but given that you can order a ford, I would think ford could offer some built to order special colors

I actually think a straight-up solid red would be badass, like Race Red.

Grenadier recently released Devil Red and it looks amazing on an off-road oriented rig. I would hit this 10/10 if buying one.

Not a fan of the Race Red, however that Devel Red is SHARP!! But maybe I'm biased. That's not too far off my last truck...Salsa Red Pearl Tundra.
