My 2.3 stx gets to 107 in a heart beat. I followed some people from mathis to san antonio and they obviously didnt want to make the 2 hour drive in 2 hours

It's unlikely to be a felony. But it would definitely be a criminal charge as opposed to most traffic citations that are civil offenses.
Felony speeding is not technically a categorized stand-alone offense in Texas, but the act of driving 25+ mph over the limit can, and will, lead to additional charges. Reckless driving is always a good one to tack on to a 25 over. And heaven forbid DPS "thinks" you were trying to evade.

My 2024 Wrangler would only let me set the cruise up to 113MPH.
My Taser must've allowed me to bypass the factory speed limiter or it definitely wasn't working properly because I've hit 120 on flat ground.

I like to think out of the box. If all you want to do is get 10mph more—psych out the computer, use Forscan and recalibrate for 36” tires. That will add about 10% error to the speedometer under-reporting 110mph as 100mph—there is your 10mph without using a tuner/ending warranty, etc. It will hold transmission shifts longer in the rpm range which may add more Yota guts on the road. I’ve never done this, but I think it would work—at least in theory. Speedometer would be off, MPG, DTE, etc would also be off. Its something you can try—I mean, if we are just “bench” racing.

I have a 24 RR, with the FP tuner, COBB intercooler, and AFE intake. I love this truck; it’s my daily and it’s fairly quick. The only problem is that it charges like a cocaine bear, all the way to 107 mph (so I’ve been told), and then it hits the wall. Five minutes later, the Toyota TRD you blew the doors off of comes strolling by. Is there currently any magic incantation that would raise the speed limiter by a measly 10mph, without changing my current configuration? And just in case someone asks, I’ve already upgraded the tires.
Considering the quality of your US builds, there's no way I'd be doing those speeds.

I did 107 mph on I80 up a grade in Pa. No one around me. No problem doing it less than full throttle.
Yes, easily 125 on those roads with goose E40 tune. Just for a moment though….The tires.

Lol. Too many replies missed OP's tongue in cheek "I just want it cause I can" tone. Either way, as an RR owner but someone who drove Tacos for 18 years and whose wife drives a Landcruiser with the 2.4L hybrid i-Force max, there is no mistaking the Toyota performance doesn't come close to the RR.

Really? Where do you think your Ranger originated?
The entire powertrain of the RR came out first in the Explorer ST for 2021. Then in the Bronco Raptor in 2022. The 3.0L Ecoboost has actually been around for an entire decade already, it was introduced to NA in 2016!

Yes, the Gen 2 Raptor was developed in Austraila, which Im actually thankful for becuase it wouldnt have a watts without the Aussies!

But, the powertrain is from NA development and production and is pretty we'll ironed out aside from occasional quality issues.

My friend has a 21 ST that has 130k miles on it, he took it to a private airport and hit 140 MPH, flogging it regualry and it still runs great whats crazy is hes running 10k oil change intervals, factory motorceaft blend, just recently convinced him to switch to synthetic.

But hes rigorous on allowing full warmup first *including transmission oil before ant heavy throttle and also regular maintenance.

So yah, we ain't worried about beating on these trucks! Seems to me the most common issues with modern Ford trucks aren't mechanical, they are electrical. Hardware has gotten pretty good but the software is still glitchy and it isnt just Ford as SW issues are now the most prevalent quality issue among all the major brands.

Anyway, I love the Rally nature of the Ranger Raptor, it can wheel with the best of the mid size trucks, but none of them can hang with a Raptor when the terrain opens up.
