Auto start/stop -- disable / delete?

I installed the 4Dtech one and it took under five minutes, including emptying the glove box before taking it off. It's irritating to have to spend the money to remove an unwanted feature, but it is easy and it does work.

Well, the nice thing about some of the recent deregulation stuff , these are no longer required nor needed.
So hopefully manufactures will stop with the use of this silly much hated feature very soon.

I put the 4D in mine and the wife's Edge. There has to be a way to disable it in Forscan, I just don't have the time, patience, or the software to find it.

It would be nice if Ford offered this in a future software update. Probably not going to happen, but I can hope.

Has no one tried to disable this via FORScan in the PSCM module? I found this when doing a dump of the module details. Have NOT tried it as I don't want to brick my truck. LOL!!

4Dtech is the way to go

I have one for sale, worked perfectly.
I had mine turned off with my tune so no longer need it

See you state you have yours disabled with your tune, so that means it in fact can be turned off by programming. Its figuring it out in FORScan.

Anyone tried changing the value to one that is a non SSV in the APIM module to try and disable start-stop?
