I covered them with Rejex, but they rusted within a month, I would like to freshen them up with black paint. I do not want to install replacement tips. I would use a high temp ceramic paint (I really like the 500 degree Duplicolor Caliper Paint), but I am not sure that the metal gets hot enough to “cook” it correctly.

Alternatively, I also like Krylon Fusion all in one paint and primer for general stuff, the Satin Black is gorgeous, but I am pretty sure that it is not nearly durable enough for an exhaust part that will get some gravel strikes….. I would like to be able to touch it up if needed.

My wife’s RDX has factory black chrome tips that look like new after four years, mine looked like crap after just a few months. Comments are welcome, thanks!
