Hawk LTS pads are also good upgrade over OEM. They are almost as aggressive as EBC yellow but much quieter (i.e. less squeak at low speed). only thing is they don't make one for Ranger Raptors yet....

Has anyone had trouble bleeding their brakes on a Ranger Raptor?

I should get my RR back today
hopefully there is an upgrade that can use the stock wheels, I was looking at mine and there is not much space left for larger rotors/calipers.

if nothing come out that is reliable I would change the pads for redstuffs, as the yelowstuff brake better but sometimes squeal.
EBC pads are notorious for melting. If you are going to swap pads, I suggest you switch to a reputable brand.

Edit: I already know I am going to get some hate for this comment, so let me head it off. Yellow stuff pads are their aggressive street, light track use pads. A lot of people find they melt after a lap or two on the track.

I have been more involved with cars than I have with pickups, so this may not be a nonstarter as I don't think anyone is tracking their Raptors. Then again, an extended session in the desert may result in the same fate. I know I'm not gonna risk it.

I have used the yellow pads sucessfully in many vehicles, never had one melting, and do very hard driving sometimes. They do tendo to make noise sometimes, it happened to me in one vehicle.

The latest ones I have installed in daily use vahicles are the redstuff, very good to prvent dust conditions. I have not tried to do track type driving with them, but for everyday situations they work excellent.

That's a really tight fit with 18s. Glad I haven't replaced my wheels with Methods yet.

Edit: not sure how I feel about 2 piece rotors. I'd likely screw something up putting them together. Lol

following!
My brakes improved with 5K on them. Not sure it was bedding or a precursory layer or me adapting to them. Definitely better pedal feel than first 2000 miles.
Thanks for this info, I will give mine some time, these brakes scared the s*** out of me the first time I drove it. I came from a 24 Colorado Trail Boss, it's brakes were excellent. I may get used to applying the brakes much earlier over time, I have only had the RR for five days.

HAs anyone tried the EBC yellow pads yet and if so, what is the part number that you used? I am finding conflicting info between what EBC says and what sites selling them say.
