Only 3500 miles on the truck. Cooling Fan is extremely loud and runs on startup and nonstop. Something is wrong. Have an appointment Thursday with Tasca Ford to find out what the issue is.

Is it warm where you are at? As soon as it starts warming up, the fan comes on. It is loud but that is normal. My last 3 Fords were the same (24 RR, 21 Bronco, 15 F-150).

Try turning off the air-conditioner

It sounds like its the air-con fan to me (the air-con found is loud, but it's also very powerful). Turn the air-con off and give it a few minutes and then the fan should shut off.

I noticed the same thing recently during the heatwave. It seemed to be something more aligned with the truck remote starting. If i started it normal it seemed fine, if i remote started it that fan would be 100% at all times. I also noticed a hard pull would also trigger it to chill out as well.

Mine is like this too, when it is very hot outside. It is WAY too loud for a consumer product. In Sacramento it is consistently 100*F and if I turn on the AC, the fan is crazy loud, and it's not variable, it's sort of off or extreme =/ If this is an issue, please post back so I can also get it checked out.

Mine does it, especially when its in hot direct sun with either the ac on from previous drive or remote start. Im guessing its normal.

Are ya'll talking about the fans on the interior AC vents or the fans in engine bay? If interior, do you have HVAC set to auto? I wonder if it runs AC vents w/ a lot of airflow rather than adjust something else.

Under the hood. Sounds like a jet engine. Gets louder as it runs. AC was off and this was happening. Ford has it. I will keep you posted. I recorded it. Wish I could play it for you guys...

We have had a week of 100 degree days and the fan has been constant and loud. I was getting concerned until I saw this thread.

Do you recall what sort of water/oil temps you were seeing... elevated or normal?

I assume everyone has owned a vehicle with electric fans?

They are loud, noisy and run a lot. Belt driven fans are quiet compared the electric. My RR fans run a lot but no more than my other cars with electric fans.
