Hello All, I thought this was too cool not to share.

Got my bumper badly damaged at the service shop comming off the hoist, opted for a custom bull bar rather than replacement plastic bumper for more protection. Always wanted one but could never really justify it until now.

check out how much more baddass it looks compared to the stock front.

Also has space for a winch, number plate can be removed easily and it is lightweight being aluminium so I did not have to upgrade the front springs.

Doesn't even look like the same truck. Need more pics of your truck with that bumper and the bed. Beastmode. I love it. Who fabricated that?

We’re just gonna gloss over the bed replacement like that? Bumper looks badass. Wish we had more options in the states. Coming from a Gladiator I’m a little shocked how there’s maybe… 4? Unique companies making bumpers for us

Really liking that custom bumper. Maybe ill just bite the bullet some day and have something custom fabricated to my taste, but if that unit were produced...I might buy one! It would either be that or the SVC which is only 45 lbs (I asked them), so you not adding much after subtracting the 25-30lbs of the stock bumper. That unit is probably in that weight range too.

Also those 33s almost look like 35s due to the width lol. It just makes them look bigger than they actually are. When I need tires, I may just go with wider profile in same diameter.

Wide 33's might be a better solution than 35's for most people unless you just want more clearance for rough trails. I don't typically do rough trails as I'm far more interested in Rally / Baja high speed driving on terrain that permits speeds in the 40-70 mph range, so 33's are actually better due to handling, braking and acceleration dynamics, but I do get for rough trails or for actual Baja 1000 where terrain is very rough, 35's do make sense.

But in the end, the differences aren't massive, but more nuanced and a refinement between the two applications. I'd say 33's are also better for towing due to powertrain reliability (keeps final drive ratio optimal), but I might consider a 1" front lift, which will leave a mild rake for handling, but give it a bit more approach up front, especially with a high clearance front bumper.
