Did your radio/hvac screen change colors recently?

Mine used to have a bkue background, like when i went to breakfast this morning.

I was driving to meet my father in law and my screen turned off and came back on and now the background is black, versus the nice blue.

Was there a recent update?

My 25 xlt has the 12” center display, and did not change today. Have you tried to reset/reboot your center display to see if it returns to normal?

You can reboot the center display using the controls on the steering wheel.

1. Simultaneously press and hold the seek forward and volume down button for 10 seconds.

I’m pretty sure there is a button somewhere in the menu of the center display as well, but the above post is copied directly from the owner’s manual.

On the steering wheel are the 2 buttons you need to hold, there's no reset I could find in the radio. the steering wheel reset is the same as the old cell phones when you would haul the battery out to reset the phone. holding the wheel buttons is essentially the same thing

hmm, the center screen radio colors change depending on drive mode? i will have to check it out because maybe that is why. i was in sport yesterday and today versus normal

I think you're talking about the cluster screen. That does change with different drive modes, but my infotainment screen has never changed colors when I change drive modes.

No, center screen does too on my 24 Raptor.

i know the center gage cluster does but i will have to check on the hvac radio screen doing it.

if it does, that will explain the change

Infotainment screen also changes with drive modes.
Not sure about all of the changes but there are custom backgrounds behind radio station display and fonts and volume slider has different color for each mode.

The ‘25 RR changes both the center gauge and the center waterfall backround to black in Sport mode. In normal mode it remains the classic dark blue you’re speaking of.
Each drive mode toggles through different backround colors in both locations. At least on the Raptor. Same thing happened on my previous F-150 Platinum. Don’t imagine it’d be different on other Ranger trim levels.

Yeah, XLT changes colors on infotainment display, and not in a good way.
When I'm in sport mode, it's like monochrome and I can't read the numbers when do things like adjust fan speeds. The cluster display I like. Blue=Normal, Green=Eco (I think), Red=Sport, Yellow=Tow,

Yup, i just checked in the parking lot and the center screen changes color depending on which tramsmission setting i choose
