Anyone else not realize right away that the oil gauge in the dash was showing oil pressure and not oil temperature? I guess the "L" and "H" instead of "C" and "H" should have been a clue but it didn't register for quite a while. I always let the car sit and idle for a bit after a drive of any distance, assuming it will allow the oil to cool a bit, specifically for the turbos, and then one day I was thinking that it had the most efficient oil cooling system ever; only to then realize it wasn't showing temps. Now that I am back awake, it's easily noted that the gauge moves along with throttle application. I suppose because I assumed it was oil temp, I never looked at it as anything else.
