I just purchased a 2025 Lariat and was looking at getting the 17" x 8.5" Dyno Gray wheels. If I stay with the factory size 255/70 tires will clearance be ok? My Ranger will be a bit of a highway queen and used for towing a boat a few times a year from NJ to FL and back, so I was looking at getting more of a touring highway tire that's good in the rain and move away from AT tires. Something like the Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra's. The spec's on this tire are: 255/70/17, Rim Width Range: 6.5-8.5", Meas. Rim Width: 8", Sect. Width: 10.2", Tread Width: 7.6" Overall Diam.: 31.1"

I’m wondering the same thing too. I want to order those wheels for my Lariat but plan on going with 255/70R17 Wildpeaks or maybe KO3’s. Anyone know if those will clear with no issue?

@dbunch904 I think the fit would be contingent on the offset. The offset on the stock factory wheels is +55mm, Tremor wheels is +42mm, which gave me enough clearance to run the 265/70/17 factory tremor tires (General ATX). I suspect I could even run 275's in the future, perhaps after I level it.

The performance wheels actually have the same +55mm offset. The only difference is that they’re 8.5 inches wide instead of 7.5 on the stock lariat wheels. So I’m thinking 255/70R17 will still be ok with no suspension mod.

I posted earlier in the thread and to report back I think I’ve settled on grabbing a pair of Bronco takeoffs. They are the same offset and come in 17” at various widths. Around me I’ve seen all 5 wheels w TPMS for $3-400.
