Has anyone had success with Forscan or other types of software or tunes? Having a ton of issues with blindspot faults on my '24 XLT due to rural roads and the poor location of a connector being hammered by gravel.

Dealership says that the software is locked up tight and are unable to disable the blind spot feature in addition to permanently disabling stop/start. Any success or suggestions out there? These smart feature faults are becoming quite annoying.

Quick answer: no. But when I got my '25 about a year ago I couldn't use Forscan because my VIN was too new to be recognized. Maybe a month or so later a beta version was available that worked for me, and a short time later the main version was updated to include newer VINs. So if this is your issue give it a little time and/or send an email to the developer with your VIN.

That aside, I don't think you can use forscan to permanently disable auto start/stop unless that's changed for '26.

You can disabled blind spot assist here in the door modules:

And here in the IPC:

However, isn't there a way to just turn it off in the driver assist menu?

Where is your hammered connector? Maybe buy some mud flaps, because I'm not realistically seeing how with the flaps any rocks would hit BSM components.

I’d protect the connector with maybe some sheet metal.

I wonder where the connector is?

Yes it stays running. At least for a few days now. I was looking at other stuff and and saw 1 more place to disable it. The other ones did nothing, but not sure what combination works. All of a sudden it was gone.

Was it completely disabled or still user selectable meaning you can turn it back on with the switch? There have been a few occasions where I actually turned it back on while sitting in a huge traffic back up due to an accident for example. I'm a little leery about making a bunch of separate code changes though so might just order the 4Dtech harness instead.

Not completely sure. I will have to look closer after work today.

I turned off A/S/S completely with Forscan. It stays on all the time. If I want it, I can press the button to activate it. But the default is now to have it disabled.
