You need to get out more. Idaho, Nevada, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming and Utah have 80 MPH speed limits, and Texas has some 85's

If you've ever driven across Texas and some desolate places in Nevada you'll see why. I spent a week one afternoon crossing Texas.

The gas door has a mid air refueling option, you must have it the button by accident.

i was on the 85 mph section north of san antonio a few times over the new year.

and here in texas, if the sign says 70, the means only 2-4mph above 70 when police are there, other wise, 70mph means 82 in real life. same on those 80 and 85 sections.

my little 04 ranger tops out at 97 so i had to drive in the right lane on that section north of san antonio last time i took that truck to colorado.

that part of 10 has an 85mph section by new braunfels and kerrville and its still takes 7.5 hours to get to the border of new mexico from san antonio

I’ve heard if you add a few pounds of lead tape to the inside of the door it only pops open once you hit triple digit’s.

I’ve had mine at 107 several times and no issues, one of those was down the beach and it was quite bumpy but still no issues

I bought the RR in Detroit and wife and I had an 8 day road trip back home to Nevada. Hwy 80 is 80mph much of the way. Btw my RR will only go 110mph. I guess the tire rating.

I drove to Dallas for Thanksgiving weekend. I could swear those signs in Texas were MINIMUM speed limit, 'cause even at 75 in a 70, I was still being passed.

No the highest speed limit is 75 here in Texas. I have my Raptor up to 95 on our interstates all the time. Never had my filler door open. Funny thing is at 95 it feels like you are going 70.
