This may be a crazy question but does everyone have the easy entrance/ exit feature turned on so the drivers seat moves back when truck is turned off and forward when tuned on. Power seats only.
I'm tall so my seat is set all the way back, all the time (and I wish there was just about half an inch more legroom). I can get in by stepping over the running board but it's a bit of an awkwardly long step. So mostly I step on the running board while grabbing the wheel, and pivot into the seat.

My wife is a lot shorter, so she steps on the running board and has her right hand on the passenger grab handle to both get in and out.

Maybe the Emson Car Cane might help some owners? My friend uses one in his Ranger.

That's probably the most sanitary website I've ever seen linked, on this forum.

Everything else has set my tracker and ad blockers on fire.

People in this industry need to get off their tails and clean up their sites, because I won't give them the first red penny if they're foolish enough to let so much data be blown into the wind.

You guys can simply have seats reupholstered, and normally in that process the upholstery shops rebuild the foam, since that normally breaks down over time as well.
You can typically get new OEM material replaced for 300-400 bucks for just one seat.
You can get both seats and armrest all redone for under a grand. If it is just the seat bottom and not the whole seat, that is normally a couple hundred bucks.

I look at like why spend hundreds on a cover when the original can be repaired for similar money if ever needed.

You clearly haven’t seen how much the OEM seat material costs on a RR… :p

Just the bottom cover for 1 seat is ~600 retail maybe ~$400 at a discounted parts seller and that’s just the single piece shipped to you in a bag.

Your prices are for a typical ranger. As with every brand, the parts for special models with non-standard parts are exponentially more expensive and they often go up over time and can get outrageous once out of production and it’s more expensive the more rare the vehicle is and the RR has tiny production numbers compared to most, just a fraction of how many F-150 raptors are out there.

For reference a standard oem ranger steering wheel is $700 full retail. The NA heated RR steering wheel is $3000.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I ended up removing the running boards, never looked back.

Takes a while to get use to. I'm 5' 6" and I find it awkward as well. Never had an issue with any of my previous full size trucks. I think it comes dow to a few things. The Raptor is just tall enough to need a step and that step, presumably for clearance, is placed pretty high relative to the truck body, so you get up there and sort of have to duck as you're too high. The other thing, and this does annoy me a bit, is that they cheaped out on the drivers side grab handle for the US (and other LHD countries). They just kept the one on the passenger side, which is the driver's side for the RHD models. Be a lot less awkward if there was something to grab onto.
A grab handle for the driver would definitely help with the awkwardness of getting in and out. I’m the same height as you and I still deal with it after a year of ownership.
I’ve accepted it considering the running boards are very useful for rock chips and door dings.

If AMP Research has adjusted their powersteps to not damage the Raptor, I would check them out. Might be worth calling them. I have AMP Research powersteps on my 2021 F150 Lariat. At 6'4" myself, they have a low step up and down that is perfect. Wife has bad hips and has no issues. Four years in all weather and not a hiccup. I want to put e-boards on my RR when I get one. There are other companies who make power boards. There is a thread on installing e-boards and rock chipping issues afterwards. I use XPEL PPF and no worries. Congrats on getting your RR!
I have AMP research boards on my 2025 Ranger Raptor. They work great!

I have them on my F150 SCAB. Could you keep us posted if you notice any damage from dents or rocks. I never had an issue either way. Thanks.

I’m 5’11” and 235 lbs. I like my seat set all the way to the bottom and can just slide into my 24 RR. It was difficult when I first got it but now it’s not an issue I never use the running boards to get in or out. You’ll get used to it

I just love the performance of the truck. I don’t drive it much and when I do I’m usually pulling a trailer with a Polaris Ranger Northstar crew on it. I drove it Saturday without the trailer and it reminded me of how much fun the truck really is

1. Open door
2. Step on running board with RIGHT foot.
3. Use right arm to grab wheel
4. rotate your rear towards the seat and sit back
5. Swing legs in
6. shut door and buckle up.

With no grab handle this works well and also saves your "nuts" from rollover or seat scuffs.

I crawl in/out of the windows. Learned how to do it watching a documentary called The Dukes of Hazzard.
I remember that show. They had a car? All I ever saw was Daisy Dukes.

Here's over 10 years of wear on the seat. I am hard on interiors, So i will protect the seats with the durable Carhartt Seat Covers for my 2025 XLT I ordered.

seat.jpg
I just took a look at those Carharts. Not sure I like them. To me a seat cover shouldn't look like a seat cover. I've been using seat covers from Dash Designs in Tempe, AZ
https://www.dashdesigns.com/p-37109...xj7pmN8SIeD17XC1W8dc5pVhBWCtgVa4aAu4TEALw_wcB

and I've been real happy with them. I had their Plush Regal on my Superduty and I have their Duramax Tweed on my Jeep, they look fantastic and are durable. I'll get some pics of the ones on my Jeep tomorrow if anyone is interested (sold the Superduty).

I first found out about them through my local upholstery and seat cover shop, they used their products. They are also made in USA. I have the advantage of only being a couple hours from them so I can just drive up there and choose mine.

edit: I found some pics of the fronts in my Superduty. Keep in mind they are at least 6 years old in the pics. Tomorrow I'll post pics of the black Duramax Tweed in my Jeep that I think would look good in the Ranger.

edit: Duramax Tweed Jeep seat covers below, first pic. Don't mind the hair stuck on the passenger one.

PS I think we need a seat cover thread for 6g Rangers, didn't see one.

After smashing the stock running boards in a rock section of the Arizona Peace Trails named "The good, the bad and the ugly" and seeing the cost of replacing the originals I went with these for under $600. They fit higher and tighter and are a breeze getting in/out for a 300# 6 footer. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HQRF13J?ref=fed_asin_title
