Compared to pretty much every other vehicle I've driven with a heated steering wheel, my RR wheel gets only moderately warm. Is this in line with others' experiences, or might I have an issue with my heated steering wheel?

Mine only gets warm. Never hot.
This. If you aren't wearing gloves, it's about the perfect temp for full-time use without burning your hands or getting them sweaty. At most, it could maybe be increased 1-2*C without getting too hot for bare hands.

The seats, on the other hand, are scorched earth, swamp butt, and still chilly but better than nothing. I really need to get into FORscan and adjust those settings. Anyone done this yet?

Steering wheel on my Lariat gets uncomfortably hot.

There's a setting for initial heat in forscan.

Same. I have a Lariat that I purchased in December so I've been using the heated steering wheel quite a bit this winter season, and after a while my steering wheel can get a bit on the hot side, but not too uncomfortably hot. That said, I'm not complaining since I've really only needed it initially when I get in the truck and start driving. Once the cabin gets to a comfortable temperature, I'm usually delayering and turning down or turning off the heat to the steering wheel and the heated seats.

X's 3, also a Lariat, if I had Forscan, I'd turn the temperature down. I turn the steering wheel heater off after the cabin is at desired temperature. It doesn't burn your hands but will be to warm to be comfortable. From what I have read, there are three temp settings to choose in Forscan.

Man, mine(RR) gets HOT within a couple minutes. Even when it's very cold outside, I have to turn it off in less than 5 minutes, with no gloves.

Mine seems very comparable to my previous vehicle, very warm, but I would not say hot, which to me would be uncomfortable.

Agree. Steering wheel in my Lariat gets really hot. I usually turn it off within 5 minutes or so of starting a drive

Default is supposed to be 35 C (95F). Maybe your default setting is off? Adjustable in Forscan from 24C to 39C (75F to 102F).

Mine works great. It's not supposed to be hot, it's supposed to be comfortable. I just turn it on and leave it on.

I agree. It is totally comfortable. It's just that other vehicles were much hotter - even to the point of being uncomfortable.

I need to look into ForSCAN.

I need to poke around Forscan but the seat heat settings are ridiculous. Setting 1 is imperceptible and setting 2 gets uncomfortably hot in no time. Hoping there's some adjustments available there

Heated seat temps are not in the confirmed features that have been changed, but looks like they are in there to tweak. They are in the Forscan GUI page rows 872-881. If I'm reading correctly, they appear to be set at 24C, 43C, 65C (79F, 109F, 149F). That seems weird...
