Ford Ranger MS-RT Pickup Truck | Ford MS-RT

This has the right looks and with US horsepower (think RR numbers with a tune) this would be a hoot! I'll take mine in lucid red or Iconic Silver. Love my RR but this is the sport performance look and stance I'd love to have.

Dream big! That truck might be worth contacting a reputable customs broker about buying a "federalized" FMVSS-compliant one from Ford Germany. Since it is a Ford label you might be able to avoid the tariff. The broker can check the German Ford specs vs a North American model, especially emissions, collision, and safety glass. Might not be impossible, just expensive to convert and ship, but they handle the customs paperwork. See if you can contact Ford Germany and ask if they can produce one that is FMVSS or know companies that do it. Knew several military people who had their German spec Mercedes-Benz converted and imported them but that was decades ago.

The Ranger is the top dog in many countries (try taking an F150 down a tiny EU street), but I'm surprised that in the US we don't get some of the "good stuff" for our versions. Trust me I get that we benefit from the TTV6 3.0L but there are some nice additional pieces that I'd like for my US version. Example of the rear aero frame on the bed I saw while in Greece.

The aero frame is awsome! The difference is their third brake is in the tailgate, I believe it would block ours. ,

Other than the 3.0 diesel, it sounds perfect. That and the price tag. That's about the price of the new Expedition I was looking at today and it had everything but the trailer towing pkg. Of course, stateside pricing may be different. I really would like to see if the 40mm suspension lowing kit was available for US models.

Might be easier to import the PHEV than the diesel. Don't know about US mechanics and diesel warranty work, if needed. The German Mehrwertsteuer is 19% tax but foreigners can file paperwork to get relief most of the time.

So a Ranger ST? I would trade my RR for that if it has the same RR 3.0t gas engine, an upgraded interior above the Lariat,trim, but retain the towing capacity of the 2.7t Ranger which is above the RR. But I think this truck has coil overs rather than heavy duty leaf springs, so probably about the same towing of the RR

Like the Ranger ST as you describe. Let's keep this going and get corporate to realize there is money to be had..... my money to be specific. Love the RR and appreciate when i drive downtown and have to face less than nice streets.

I don't know about phev, but I wish we had a hybrid option. Also like that bumper style better than the "H".
