I'll upload a video of the 15 trouble codes in a bit.

The day before this I tried going into Off Road mode and then selecting 4Lo. I ended up getting stuck in 4Lo and limp mode. I fixed it by turning off the truck, opening the driver's door, and turning back on the truck.

I just got back from a work trip and now my Ranger won't start.

Got it towed to the dealer. Now we wait.

The dealer got it to start, but it has over 80 DTCs... They are working with Ford Engineering, but at this point I might try to get Ford to swap it out.

Does anyone have a better contact, or department at Ford to talk to than the 1-800 number? I've been on the phone with an offshore customer service rep for 45 minutes with zero progress. Very painful.

Ford can't fix the truck, so it's getting bought back.

Going through the process now and debating if I want to swap it for another RR, or go back to a F-150.

Freak shit happens. The RR over a non-Raptor F150 any day!

Went to town today, in 45 minutes driving around I saw 4 F150 Raptors (and no RRs.) 3 of them gave me a thumbs up! When I came out of the liquor store a guy parked next to me with a Colorado ZR2 asked me how I like the Raptor. I had dropped off a tire from my 5th wheel to be replaced, when I came to pick it up I pointed out my RR so they could load the tire, when I came out after paying there were 3 employees looking over my truck saying things like Dude! Sweet!...
Good times.

That many codes and not starting seems to be gang plug for connections. Really it is interesting to hear that your RR cannot [perceivably] be fixed--like Ford can't be bothered to find out what when wrong and maybe prevent more of the same later on the assembly line.

It also could just be a faulty part that is not worth the effort. Let's be honest, the VAST majority of parts for any vehicle are manufactured by 3rd party and delivered to the production lines. A certain % of them will be faulty. If I was Ford, I'd do the same thing. Accept it as a freak issue not worth the $ and effort to chase (chasing it will CERTAINLY be more $ than a new RR) and supply a new vehicle.
Now, if they start to see a pattern of similar issues, thats a different story.

There was a gateway module update lately. I wonder if it maybe it got corrupted.

Apparently the tech has chased all of the wires, grounds and connections. They think it's a module or programming. They'd have to fire off the parts cannon to fix it, but they don't know what exactly is wrong, because everything is seemingly wrong.

Exactly. Not worth trying to unpack the "issue(s)". More $ would be spent than it would be worth. Glad you're getting a new vehicle.

I finally got the truck back. Everything is working so far! It was a wiring harness issue.
