Learn from my mistake - Ford Shop Manual Subscription not worth it

Hey guys, will try to keep it short. For every car I've owned, I like to have a PDF copy of the dealership service manual - not talking about the owner's manual, but the actual service shop manual that dealer techs use with specifics for every repair, specifications, etc.

Anyway, couldn't find a Ford Ranger one for the life of me. Read about buying a 72 hour subscription to Ford's shop manual access for all vehicles for $27, and read you could download PDFs - cool!

Bought the sub, got on, and come to realize you have to download every section individually... There were hundreds of sections!

So went onto Etsy and found this seller, Repairocars, that claimed to offer the full service manual:

Paid 7 bucks, got the download 6 minutes later, and got the service manual - sweet! And my $27 waste on the Ford subscription wasn't a complete loss though - I used it to spot check a bunch of random sections/pages, and confirmed that the Etsy download completely matches the Ford page. So at least I got some peace of mind, and now you guys can have it too - youre welcome!

the ford one has much more info then just the shop manual. you get wiring diagrams, build data, service records and can look at all the tsb, and stuff too. software updates, etc.

I only downloaded what I knew I wanted/thought I might need. there probably is a download all button somewhere, I just never looked for it, as on mobile it was a bitta fuckin around turning the browser on my phone from mobile mode to desktop mode, and sometimes it would error out the page. lol

Happen to have the wiring or builders guide for the satellite radio antenna? I need to relocate mine from the shark fin to the tent or something. Just don't know what wires I need to splice.

The downloaded workshop manual has the full wiring document (1000+ pages). That probably has what you need.

When I click that link the website doesn't even resolve, let alone load.

I was able to get to the cardiagn site on my phone (work computer must block it). It is as janky and scammy as I remember. Be cautious using that thing

Thank you so much for this! Huge find! I bought the ranger raptor one, however it seems to be for the eu trucks. Still useful, but there are surely some differences. Is the standard ranger manual for US trucks?

No problem man! Sorry it wasn't an exact match... how could you tell it was EU vs US?
Mine appears to be the US one, as I spot checked against the Ford subscription I got. But I better double check after hearing back from yoU!

This is what I received. It has a ton of info and I’m sure its 90% the same as our trucks, but its definitely for the EU trucks. I also saw on the general service information page, it goes over the VIN coding and the only manufacturing facilities mentioned are thailand and myanmar! Maybe check that page on your copy and see if its the same?
