All, I bought the Foutz lower control arm frame sliders. The install requires loosening the lower control arm bolt, rotating the flag out of the way, and retorquing with the truck on the ground. I have checked a few AI versions and they claim torque of that nut is between 350-380ftlb. Does anyone know if this is accurate or have a source to confirm this?

It is actually 550nm, which is just over 400ft.lb

It is a big honkin chonkin bolt. I just wrenched on it with a breaker bar until I couldn't move it anymore.

Thanks, I had actually come across that data point as well. Really appreciate you confirming. I may need to pick up a torque multiplier.

Why did you remove that bolt?

I needed to remove the strut assemblies to install leveling spacers
Are you referring to the lower shock bolt? I think OP is referring to the rear LCA to frame bolts?

I'm waiting for Foutz to let me know the torque spec. I'll share it here once I find it. AI has been no help with this.

Did you get the torque spec from FMI? I’m also getting ready to install the rear lower arm skid.

I did, they quoted me 350ftlbs. I had a local shop do the install, they look great. I did not get verification form the shop what they torqued them too. They do a lot of Raptor work, so I'm hoping everything is torqued properly. I went out in the truck yesterday with no issues at all.
