Did it come from the factory like that? If so, that's terrible. Mine was built end of January and has 130km on the odometer before leaving the factory. I'm afraid to see what it looks like, whenever it arrives.

So they both spent a bit still in the lot with snow and crap on them. Time for a spray with Krown or a product similar, it will stop anymore stuff from happening and might even remove a bit of surface rust.

My blend was 2/22 so it was earlier and had a qc hold.

When were they built. Mine was mid March so none on mine.

I believe mine was in January. I am the original poster of this thread. I have filed a claim through my dealership which was denied. I then called Ford Customer Service and received no type of call back. If you or anyone else receives any positive feedback from Ford, please let the rest of us know.

I have a 2/6 blend date and the truck has been stuck at “in production” ever since.

Scary to hear that Ford denied your warranty claim.
I remember with my Focus RS in the past when I had a warranty claim denied I was able to appeal/escalate it with a local Ford rep.
Maybe your dealer can you in touch directly with their rep?
If not, file a report with the better business bureau?
I definitely wouldn’t take no for an answer after shelling out ~$60k for a new vehicle and receiving a used one instead…

Wow. The driveshaft and CV axles are one thing. This on the other hand is totally unacceptable. That's more frame rust than my 10 year old F-150 has in Michigan with annual undercoating.

i would not expect it in July..

my first order in late November early December got a build date for May before I canceled my order because my local dealer had there 1 allocation opened back up.. I am more of a VIP there so they gave me a better deal… I won’t expect mines to be here till closer in August.. at least that’s my hope at the earliest.. if it’s later than I am fine.. more time to save

Ordered mine in Dec and still waiting on a VIN. I'll definitely be looking under it when it finally arrives.

Should be ok mine was built in cold weather and driven on salty roads 60 miles. I have cleaned most of the salt off and sprayed 303 on the drive shaft.

Interesting thread and also concerning. I picked up my RR on June 4th and have about 350 miles on it. No rain at all. First off my spare tire is the exact same as the 4 on the truck which is good. I just looked under it and I have some rust on the drive shaft but I can't see any on the frame anywhere. A few products have been mention to cover it up but is there any consensus on which is the best or are they all good?
