Please advise what you picked and your thoughts. I found a note on a forum from Real Truck regarding the change in rails on the 2026 Ranger and the kits would have to be tweaked.

I am picking up my 2026 Ranger XL tomorrow and need to get:
  • Floor mats
  • Mud flaps
  • Bed Cover
I will see how many Ford points I end up with and how far they go.

I am trading in my 2023 Ford Maverick hybrid (I am going to miss the gas mileage) and it has a Bakflip MX4. It was solid and did not leak. I also liked the fact that it folds up 3 of the panels against the back windows so you have access to about 95% of your bed but it also runs about $ 1200 +/-.

You may want to get the bed sprayed or some type of mat for the bed. I tried a Weathertech rubber mat in my truck but didn't like it. Every thing I pulled across it kind of stuck to the rubber. Then I got the bed sprayed.

Mud flaps don't work well in Illinois. If we get a heavy snow the mud flaps can break off backing up..

Running boards are nice

Home Depot has some long 4' container that work well in the bed for getting items out

Hope that helps

I live in South Florida and it's a balmy 93 degrees and feels like an armpit outside. I don't think snow is on the agenda this century. I am going to get it sprayed.

I have had friends with the bed mat and things would catch on it. My ranger has the drop in bed liner so I may pick up a mat until I can get it sprayed.

I had Line-X on my 2023 Maverick and it got no damage from cement bricks etc.

Any comments on a Worksport AL4 or their new Nexus tonneau?
I have the Worksport AL4 on my '25. Made in the USA, not just assembled or packed here like the others. I like that there's no rubber edges to wear out in the sun and UV rays. I can walk on it.

I ordered the Diamondback Switchback a few days ago, a bit pricey but I expect to be keeping this vehicle for quite some time and want something that hopefully lasts just as long.

A video for this cover https://www.walmart.com/ip/MOSTPLUS...iates_ad_id=565706&campaign_id=9383&sharedid= popped up on YouTube recently. It certainly seems like it could do a decent job at its price point. .
Re Mostplus.
I'm very satisfied with mine. It works, it seals (well, after I sealed up the bedrails and all the holes....) it looks decent, it's easy to open or remove.
Paid $280 on ebay.

I went with Husky Weatherbeater floor mats and have been less than impressed with them. On my Maverick I had a Rough Country tri-fold cover that could sit up against the back window like you describe. Unfortunately they don't make one for the Ranger so I'll probably get the hard roll-up cover when I finally decide that its time for a tonneau cover.

For mudflaps I went with the RokBlokz. I will be forthright and say that I found them to be a PITA to install. The first mudflap took me probably 30 minutes while I figured out how to exactly line up the red clips with the trim pieces. The rest went on fairly easy once I figured out how to space the clips. The plastic trim pieces they include are fragile so install with care. I only had about 7 in/lbs of torque and had one shatter. I like the RokBlokz because they have a good amount of flex so larger rocks or snow build-up shouldn't be a concern.
