Ordered my Ranger Raptor in Oxford White on April 28th! Received my order confirmation from ford the next day but nothing since.

I found out that someone ordered one at the same dealership a few weeks before me. They got their build date within a week. I haven’t heard anything yet so something tells me I will be waiting a long time for a build date. Priority code 19 :(

im getting impatient…starting to think I should’ve just found a stock one and drove it off the lot . Haha

I got my order confirmation on the 22nd. I’m code 19 as well, waiting on a shelter green. Still waiting on a build date.

My dealer indicated 2-3 months which seems short to me.

Congrats on the order!

They said 2-3 months until delivery? Or until you receive a build date?

I asked if the arrival time would be 4-6 months like I’d seen online, his quote “time frame 2-3 months”

This guys been great to my family over the years, so we have reason to trust him, but 2-3 months sounds too good to be true to me
He indicated that they were behind at one point l, but had recently caught up on production.

Here’s to hoping hes right!

If the dealer is big enough, or the timing was great... It is certainly possible. I ordered 4/7 at a small dealer without an allocation at the time (and one other person in front of me). 4/17 it was scheduled for the beginning of June. So it can happen... but I would expect a longer wait and be pleasantly surprised if it is shorter.

It's all about dealer allocations. Ask your dealer if they have an allocation. If they do and it is not spoken for you are good. No allocation no Raptor.
I ordered mine Nov 2024 still waiting for an allocation.
Located an in stock Raptor out of state and bought it.
Check with your dealer to get an understanding on their allocations.
Really there are 1000 Raptors in transit or on dealer lots, many listed at a discount, maybe buying an in stock unit will be better than a long long wait.

Yeah, you’re right. I’ve been seeing a lot more listings for them as of late which is why I’m starting to get impatient.

I will do some searching and maybe I’ll snag one early. How did you go about your order once you purchased an in stock model…did you cancel it or leave it be?

I left my order just in case a friend decides on getting a RR.
In your search I would concentrate on smaller dealerships in out of the way places. In my experience they were much more cordial and easier to deal with. I found mine in Sleepy Eye, MN, a town with a population of 3500.
Good luck

Allocation is the key, mine was roughly three months and yes they had an open allocations.

Mine was ordered by the dealer back in February, and started production at the beginning of May. It spent about a month and half in production, presumably because of the same quality control hold that has delayed others, and then spent more than 20 days in transit. So total time from order to delivery was almost exactly five months. If there hadn't been that long QC hold or if shipping had been faster, it would have been under four months overall.

My personal wait time was shorter, because I connected with the dealer in May when I called them about one that was showing as in stock. It had already sold, but they had this one coming that matched what I wanted, with no markups/add-ons, so I jumped at it.
