People who had bronco orders said this would happen months ago because they had the same problems. Doesn't seem that far-fetched that early orders are packed into the back of the lot and sit until everything around them gets freed up.

On top of that, we saw pictures of the holding lot and how closely some of these trucks were packed in.
Are there any data points on which trucks that got shipped, and what production week they were? I'm wondering if its FIFO, LIFO, or something else entirely

The dealers don't know as Ford is not disclosing why the vehicles have been on hold. Once your vehicle is shipped your tracker or at least your dealers view will indicate this. As to why Ford is being secretive about the hold, I'm unsure. But I know they want these vehicles to arrive without issue, if possible.
My Ford rep (not from the dealer) said a good bunch are in QC hold.

Mine has been in production status since 1/23. It's been frustrating.

I am the guy who captured all the order data a few weeks ago and I've been using that data to try and figure out what specifically is holding some orders up.

About a week ago I grabbed 60 random orders produced on 1/22 and 1/23 and started tracking their statuses manually. I was pleasantly surprised that about 40% of those orders were in "Built" status or higher. I've seen that percentage grow to around 70% (as of this morning).

I have run queries on those orders to see if there is a specific option that is prevalent in the orders that are delayed. The only thing I've noticed is that orders west of the Mississippi are much more likely to be stuck in "In Production" status. I am fairly certain that it's a shipping logistics issue at this point and not something defective with the trucks.

I still see some orders on the East Coast (especially Florida) that have been delayed, but the numbers are fewer.
I think you are on to something. I may have missed it but I haven't seen anybody from Georgia or the Carolinas report their truck has shipped.

I'm from Middle Georgia, and my Ranger Raptor was marked shipped on 13 March. Expecting it to arrive at the dealer next week.

They are, but for the older ones to still be held, they have to be repairing something.

I was feeling pretty proud of myself until you come along and ruin my excellent theory with facts!

Just updated the spreadsheet with all of my info. The only cell left to populate is when it arrives at the dealership!

I want to say I read about something with the bed and/or infotainment system. Beats me, just sucked I had more order in back in May of last year and dudes that ordered theirs in August got it first 😭

there is almost certainly something wrong with the earlier production ones. i have rangers at dealerships in my state that went into production mid march and are already marked as shipped. mine has been stuck in production since 2/6. surely ford would think ok we have these in the back of the lot and need to get them out if nothing was wrong. one went into production 3/19 already marked built 3/25

My Raptor was blended 3-12 & moved to built on 3-20 but has shown no movement since. Ford chat says ETA for delivery is 4-16 to 4-22, I'm less than 300 miles from MAP 7 the truck will be shipped by convoy. I've read on this forum where people say once it moves to built it is essentially shipped but for me that has been untrue. We'll see what happens.

100% agree. I saw someone post they put an order in January 2024 and their truck has been built and shipped already.

A simpler explanation is that specific truck wasn't boxed in and was selected to be shipped before other january builds.

I've been in production since january and my dealer has told me multiple times there has never been any QC holds listed. It's just waiting for shipping.

People who had bronco orders during COVID went through the same situation and called it out well before any of us were even built.

"Early orders will get packed into a lot and you'll be frustrated seeing brand new builds get shipped before you. it's just part of the process when you are an early-adopter and there's nothing you can do about it other than be patient."

My dealer ordered two trucks on January 23rd that have been shipped already. My truck blend date was that very day and it is still sitting in Michigan. When I learned this I couldn't help but face Michigan's general direction, stick up my middle finger, and yell... Well, I'm sure you can imagine what I said.
