I think they really only use these specific holding areas when stuff isn't shipping and they need longer-term storage. Now that shipping started they probably aren't adding anything new to these holding lots, just slowly emptying them each day. It's just a matter of thousands of trucks and only a few convoys/rail cars available each day.The frustrating part is there’s no telling WHEN Ford will get to those older vehicles. It could be 4 months from now for all we know. They aren’t going to stop building new ones to ship old ones out so there’s always going to be a truck ahead of those older parked trucks. Ford is eventually going to have to play Tetris to ship those vehicles.
But you're right, there's really no telling how long it might take. We'll get there, hopefully sooner rather than later.
