Hello all! Newbie here to the forum. I noticed today the right side above the screen on my ranger raptor is lifted more so than the left side. Has anyone else run into this? Couldn't find anything about it from looking around. I can fully lift up the right side unlike the left side. It is barely noticable but regardless, still noticeable. It only recently started to look like this as I would have noticed it within the last month prior. I'm thinking of using double-sided tape or even some glue but wanted to get some thoughts before doing so. I was able to fully lift the right side up but don't want to do that as bending it in the wrong direction will only make it worse. Like I said the left side is completely stable and does not lift up. Tried my best to circle what I'm referring to via my phone's image editor.

Don't go trying to bodge it up yourself - take it back to Ford and make them fix it. It's under warranty and you paid a lot of money for it. It should be perfect and you shouldn't have to settle for anything less

Yeah, gonna reach out to dealer tomorrow. Also have the foam insert in between the cab and the bed that I think should've been removed from what I'm seeing on other posts.

Just an odd thing to happen, there's no obvious reason as to why all the sudden it's raised like that.

The problem with this is, as another user already took apart to look, there's no clip or support behind that section. That's why it looks misaligned. There's another thread about this and they included pictures showing the issue. A dealership would also have to podge it up to get any sort of "fix" and personally I wouldn't trust them.

Exactly! Im in that same boat. If anything there is a piece that is blocking it from sitting right. Can you link the other thread?

Heyo, it was me. Still no solution yet. Need to find a way to get under the piece while everything is installed and push upwards on the dash structure to clip it in. Probably going to feed a coat hanger in from the bottom of the dashboard to get some pressure on it. Fords social media team got to me but did nothing to help me with it.

And I just fixed it...

Use a 90 degree pick through the vent in the center of that trim. With the piece pulled off you can see the pick tool under the female end of the clip. Put some upward pressure on there and snap it back together. No more lump.

Dealer will just try to bodge this with glue. Give it a shot, and use light pressure.

Can you please post pic of where you placed the 90 degree pick? Thanks!

Go in where the pen is pointing. Use the pick tool to put pressure on the bottom of the tab, make sure the tab on the trim actually goes in it's hole in the dash.

Thank you. Are we talking a basic 90 degree pick tool? Can you show a picture of what you used? Just want to make sure I do it right without messing things up. Thanks for the assistance!

I used a coat hanger but any 90 degree pick will work and be less unwieldy. Think of the cheap sets you can buy from harbor freight.
