Port and direct injection

Sorry to bring this thread back to life, but has it been definitively determined what injection system the 3.0 TT Ecoboost engine in the 2024 Ford Ranger has? Direct Injection only? Or Port and Direct?

There is no debate...there's only six injectors on your RR same as mine...go pop your hood and take a pic of a PFI injector!

The 2023 3.0L V6, is direct injection used in the;

• Ford Explorer
• Lincoln Aviator
• Lincoln Continental
• Lincoln MKZ

The 2023 3.0L V6 used in the Bronco is; direct fuel injection.

Not the same engine, this is their next gen engine and You‘re not displaying the 2024 3.0L V6 Ranger Raptor engine, its parts or technical service manual.

What I posted above is the fiche for my VIN. The 2.7 Pic is for a 22 Bronco. Neither Braptor nor RR has the port/DI. Just pop your hood dude!

appears that Ranger with 2.7L has DI and port. RR does not tho, and neither does Braptor

Ford had the same typo on the Bronco Raptor spec sheet.

the 3.0L is direct injection. The 2.7L is port and direct injected.

I was in denial for awhile too, but unfortunately the 3.0 in the RR is DI only. It is frustrating that Ford has let this typo persist for so long.

I did the same parts catalog exercise and all signs pointed to DI only. You can't tell by looking under the hood without a borescope, credit to @Bmadda for taking pics. When I was at Raptor Assault a few weeks ago they had an RR chassis in the lobby, so I snapped some pic, no port injectors..
