"R" botton dead

I can change all the settings that are in the Raptor Status screen, but I can no longer save my settings or recall my previous settings with the double click of the button. While I have had frequent instances when at start up my settings screen was gone and replaced with one of the others while is was a pain I could always go back to My View, select it and scroll down a couple screens to Raptor Settings screen. Been a couple days and hasn't fixed itself, checking here before I taket to dealer which is not a real issue as ready for oil change and some recall fixes. Anyone else have this situation?

Many have had intermittent issues with the R button. I've been lucky and only had it happen once and a shut down and restart worked for me. The standard fix is to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and functionality should be returned. If you have to do it often, then I would take it in.

As previously suggested by someone else on this forum that worked for me. My R button stopped working as well. It was suggested to lock and unlock the vehicle several times with the key fob. Once I did that, all returned to normal.

My R button stopped working as well. I tried turning it off and on, did not work at first. Two days later it came back on its own.
I called my local Ford dealer, they said it would take 4 days to fix this problem, I laughed at them when they couldn't tell me any more info on why it would take that long. Thankfully it just had a hiccup for 2 days and it's been working well since, fixed itself.

Mine was dead on delivery...Took negative cable off battery for a while, hooked it back up and no issues so far at 2800 miles/

Welp, my R button died yesterday. I really thought it was fixed in the last software update as I hadnt had any issues for many months. Oh well. Guess Ill install the new hood struts when Im resetting the battery.

Very typical on these. Happens a couple times a month to me. But it always starts working again after a few starts and stops. Obvious glitch in the electronics, but not worth losing truck for many days for a dealership to try to figure it out. Living with it for now, especially since it self corrects itself.
