Ranger Aux Switch Kit M-9100-RA

I was doing a quick search for Aux/Upfitter switches for the Ranger and found this genuine Foed Parts kit. Says it fits the 2024-2026 Ranger Models. A similar kit came out for the Bronco in October. This looks new to me.

I got the D-Switch from Diode Dynamics. at first I installed it ontop of my fuse box, later mounted it to my aux battery I added. you can hook the ignition trigger wire to the ignition wire under the bcm. I also got the nightmode trigger wire on the marker light wire under the bcm, and the highbeam trigger wire on 1 of the 3 programable triggers.

has battery saver settings, etc. can use it with truck running or off. has a phone app, that is also android auto compatible.

Has anyone installed the ford aux switch kit M-9100-RA in their non raptor rangers? When I first looked at it, I thought it was too high priced. Then I looked at the garmin powerswitch and diode dynamics d switch and found that the ford setup is cheaper. I’ve found it at levittown ford for 375. Does the ford switch block mount where the sunglasses compartment is? The description on the ford site is pretty vague as far as technical specs. An AI search said that 4 switches are 25 amps and 2 are 40 amps. The pictures of the switch panel only show 4 switches with room for 2 more switches possibly.
Anyways, I’m looking to see what the non raptor group is using for aux switches. I’m not looking to add much at this point, a pair of ditch lights and an upgraded cargo bed light maybe. At least for now. Who knows what I might opt to add down the road.

Im using the Garmin Powerswitch and I'm pretty happy with it. No physical switches - everything works through an app. You can control the app through the screen on the truck, or through a phone. You can add a physical switch if you want to. The interface looks pretty basic, but there is a lot of configuration available. Running a bunch of lights and a compressor switch on it.

In the F-Series trucks this would be called upfitter switches and the last two spots were 40 amp with the option of being always on, configured by a switch in the upfitter fuse box. That option doesn't seem like it's available on this Ranger version, just the 25 amp switches.

It does look like it replaces the sunglass holder.

I would buy it if I needed the switches.

the install instructions are on ford performance website for download, you only get 4 switches, 4 fuses, 4 relays, the wiring, fuse/relay box, and connectors.

as per the instructions, you do lose the sunglass holder but you maybe able to get a raptor overhead panel without the switches, cut the headliner slightly and put the raptor overhead console with sunglass holder in, and put the 4 gang switchs up in that.

The 6 gang switches in the raptor use the same panel, as the add on. addon cant support the 6. so get the raptor overhead console, and take the 4 switch out of the sunglass holder replacement, and put it in the raptor OHC.
