Why do you care what other people do to their trucks?

The accepted assumption by posting on an anonymous form, and the tone of OP's post, is seeking feedback, validation and consensus.

The Raptor R is a V8 5.2L supercharged, not a tuned version of the standard F150 Raptor's 3.6L turbo.

Your ride, your choice, but R badging reeks of the guys who put M badges & stick-on side vents on their entry BMW 3, the guys who debadge their Benz and add AMG badges, or when you spot the Porsche with the added far-right S.

Since Livernois did the ProCal tune, if one had to show off signal, maybe one of their more subtle Powered by Livernois badges or license frames would be less douchey.

Its got the procal and is quicker than a stock 2.3 ranger

there's no such thing as a Subaru raptor sir. I suggest you switch the forester bagging with the raptor badging between both your vehicles. actually if you mashed those two vehicles together that would be game changing and rip to the 4runners. OP do you go for it. you've just inspired me to put XXXL Ranger badging on. man that 3.0 w/a tune must fly.

Not sure what mental gymnastics you are attempting, but I own 2 completely different cars. Owning 2 cars is not the same as up badging anything. Up badging is just a poser move as it has always been in car culture lol.

Personally, I think that out of all the stickers and badges people put on cars these days, an R badge is pretty tame. I'm just glad you didn't post about putting some offensive nude anime wrap all over your truck for the rest of the world to suffer through.

I chuckle and smile when I see those big ol anime vinyls and peek-a-boos for the bottom of the glass. Might throw out a light-hearted "bet that dude scores major ass."

But I've only shaken my head shamefully in disapproval at upbadging. Hell there's an entire reddit r/upbadging sub to post pics and make fun of upbadging in the wild.

I kinda had the same 'discussion' with my '21 STX RWD.
1st: added a level lift WhY pUt A LiFt oN a 2Wd!!!! Reee!!!
2nd. removed 'Ecoboost' tags and replaced with TURBO. BuT tHaT's NoT the SaMe!! Reeeee!!!
3rd. Wanted add Tremor stripes (but not the name or badges). It'S NoT a TrEmOr!!!! Reeee!!!

My answer: F**k off. It's my truck, I'll do what I want. There's probably 2 people in my area that would notice.
No different than installing a tune to drive 70 MPH, or 33" tires and never get off the pavement.

Your truck, do what you want. I rolled with one for about 1 week before I took it off... just didn't feel right to me. I have a custom tune now (Goosetuned) and the truck is MUCH faster than with the FP tune... I don't even think about putting it back on. Maybe if I would make the jump to upgrading turbos... maybe.
Anyway, do what you want and enjoy your truck.

I like the R. I think people should know this is not a normal RR but a tuned one. Nothing on the truck says more horsepower than standard. So this is our way of saying I'm something other than a normal RR.
