For this and other quality issues is why I canceled my order of the RR. I'm probably going to go with the 2025 4Runner or even a Lexus. I'm a retired Ford worker and I have seen a lot over the years!
Yeah, it’s pretty frustrating. They just told me today that they’re going to have it at the dealership for over a week. I haven’t even had the truck for a month.

Just a heads up for anyone who is following this thread The Ford tech at my local dealership in Cincinnati called today and said that Ford decided just to replace my engine which is a good thing. Also, I made a comment about the issues with the phasers on Fords Instagram page and they told me to DM them. Although I am disappointed about needing a new engine, i am impressed with how Ford has actually been very receptive about the problem and taking care of the issue across multiple social media platforms, including this one.

Just to give everyone a heads up, went to the dealer today it is cam phasers. Apparently, there’s a lot of bronco Raptors that have the same issue. I really don’t understand why Ford cannot design cam phasers correctly. So I buy a brand new car for $60,000 put 1200 miles on it and I’m not going to have it for at least a week and then what? replace them again like the F150 people do at 10,000 to 15,000 miles after the initial repair? What a serious letdown. I have owned seven Toyotas before this Ford, I am not used to issues like this at all.
I have the exact same issue going on, with less than 900 miles on it, ugh

Currently at 2000 miles and have had no issues at this time. I had the truck for almost a month now

Any update? Did you get a new engine yet or a new vehicle?

anyone on here with the cam phaser issues ever get a resolution ? New motor? Cam phasers fixed? Mine seems to have settled down and not sure if I want to do anything more at this point?

Please tell me I don't have bad cam phasers I am at 1300 miles. What happens to the Tune I put in the engine? Do I lose that if they replace the engine?

This is how mine sounds on cold starts too. I think a cam phaser would be louder… I hope?

Can you post a cold start up with your hood up for comparison?
I don't know how but I know cam phaser noise. I owned 4 3.5 Ecoboost F150s and a Ranger Raptor. Fortunately my Ranger Raptor doesn't make that noise but I hear my neighbors Expedition make that noise everyday.

I took my truck in for a coolant leak and also asked them to listen to the cold startup. My RR has 7750 miles and it almost always made some rattling noise on cold startup that I thought was normal. They confirmed it's a bad cam phaser(s). The parts are on backorder and it will be a three week job once they're in stock. They need to pull the motor.
