Today's mail has yet to be delivered but I can see on the USPS website that I've received my weekly (seems that way) recall notice. Hoping its not for the engine recall.

No, joined the forum because I just got the truck in April. Just got around to doing some things to it. Unfortunate? Guess it depends how you look at it.
Suppose it depends how you look at it, you’ll probably get a brand new engine out of this lol

I put about 25k on a vehicle a year. figure by the time they get around to the fix, i'll get a new engine and a free 20k ish miles. If it turns into a shits how I'll get something else. But I like this truck.

Glass half full! I enjoyed getting a whole new DEF/exhaust system on my Ram 2500 after I drove the piss out of it.

Getting a new engine is great, unless they cock up something else during the swap.

Always a possibility! If it were me, I'd wait until my dealer had done a few and "had a guy" for it. Would take him a 24 pack and doughnuts too FOR SURE. 🍻
