I like the product. Any concern about aluminum and having dissimilar metals (aluminum and steel)
bolted to each other? Aluminum and stainless would be a concern, but aluminum and steel in contact can also be in a corrosive environment.

We apply a zinc-flake process to our fasteners and galvanize our aluminum skid plates before applying Akzo Nobel coating. As a result, no issues have been reported thus far from any market including humid and salty Asia and Australia.

From time to time, especially for our OEM projects in Europe or Australia, we conduct various strength tests: Deep Stamped Aluminum that is 1/4 inch thick proves to be three times tougher than flat steel protection. These tests involve applying a load of 3 tons per skid plate.

From my off roading experience, you do a mix of aluminum skids and steal. So on my Tacoma I have a aluminum CBI front bumper but steel front and mid skids. The gas tank skid I have is aluminum. My rear diff skid and bumper is Steel because those always skid over rocks all the time. I used to have a TRD Pro front aluminum skid but I had to throw it away after one trip from the Rubicon. So go steel in areas that gets impacted the most and go aluminum that barely see rocks.

There is no offer for a full set yet because we will be releasing skid plates one by one as we perform necessary modifications to our Australia market skids to fit US model.

Nice to see Australian parts making it to the US already. I want an old man emu lift kit, skid plates, rock sliders and a front bumper. Are you guys going to be an importer for all this stuff or just for the skid plates?

The only one you really take off is the engine skid. There really isn't a transmission or t-case skid. The fuel tank skid goes over the OEM plastic skid

You can sign up for in stock alerts. That's how I got notification on the Engine Skid. I'll definitely be getting the Gas Skid when it comes back in stock.

I just asked about the remaining skids and was told the transmission and transfer case skids are being redesigned and might be a couple months out.
