A very small tip here, I charge my phone with a cable (no convenience package) but it didn't fit in the console phone slot while plugged in so I got one of these right angle USB charge cords and now it fits (Galaxy S22).

Did my Redline hood shocks today and very happy with them Did not notice any flex but it does take even more effort to close the hood now. Wondering if there is any room to shim the latch slightly and still have it fit tight and rattle free?

Also put on the Muslogy console pad, not sure I really needed that but we'll see.

Also had a KARR BT Series alarm add on installed.

4D Tech Stop/Start bypass arrives tomorrow and Airplex hood guard is on it's way from Europe.

Sportwing color matched body side molding arrives Friday or Saturday.

$till got a ton of $tuff on my li$t.

You can adjust the amount of force required to shut your hood by adjusting these rubber bumpers. One on each side. Worked for me.

Well that was easy, and no tools required. Closes nice and firm without slamming and still tight enough so there are no thumps or rattles.

Seems like this is something that should have been done at the factory, or at dealer prep. I had to shim out my rear seat bracket as well, it would not latch no matter what.

After coming from a 2002 Superduty I'm somewhat amazed and disappointed at all the cheap plastic on new trucks. Looking under the hood it's hard to even find much steel

Ford published a service procedure that addresses hood closing effort. The part that addresses the hood bumper adjustment is below:

Adjust the bump stop rubbers located on the hood assembly by turning the bump stop rubbers clockwise until the bump stop rubber is fully wound in to the hood inner panel.

Once the bump stop rubbers are wound in all the way, turn the bump stop rubbers counter clockwise 3.25 turns.

If you remote start while looking at the front of the truck, you can see the DRS open and close during its self test. Also aids in warming/cooling down engine.

It's been two weeks since I last drove my truck. Opened the app to find that my truck has put itself into "Battery Saver mode". I had read this in the owners manual, but wasn't quite sure what it meant...still not sure what it means entirely.

Nothing to worry about this is normal. I was laid up for a while and did not mine for several weeks and got the same message. It is to protect the information stored in the computers. Basically it is stay alive mode for them. Certain features get turned off like remote start if I remember correctly but seat position, radio stations and the like are maintained. Over the air updates also are stopped.
As soon as you drive your vehicle all features are restored.
