Maybe Ford decreased the amount of advertising dollars sent to MSN? Probably just someone with zero understanding of what they're reporting on, like every other report I read where I know more than the reporter.

Honestly it just reads like an AI generated article if they trained the AI with this forum. It's a lot of words that say basically nothing we haven't known for weeks/months.

Can't disagree. Just passing on what I read. And MSN was just republishing the Motor Biscuit article, which had basically zero facts.
There could also be rail scheduling issues, truck convoy issues, or another constraint.
My conclusion - we will know more someday......duh.

Well, most journalists would have at least reported on whether they actually reached out to @Ford for comment.
She is right about one thing, whether frustration is warranted or not.
However, Ranger reservation holders are becoming frustrated. They have been waiting for months without any answers.

Got email saying come look at 24 Ranger at Dealer...Its Heller Ford in El Paso IL Big Dealer! I have a 24 Ranger ordered ford says be built 3-11-24!!! So i look on line shows 24 XLT for 43k also shows 24 RR!! NO price say call for price! SO a couple have made dealer!!! MINE????

Maybe? The XLT (red) on their site isn't scheduled on tracker until 3/11. but window sticker has all the emissions and other info filled-in on top., so it might be there. Window sticker shows blend date of 3/12, so was obviously moved-up on schedule.

The RR on their site has a window sticker with all the right stuff filled-in to right of blend date for shipping, but still showing in-production on tracker. Traveling by convoy to dealer, so it won't take long once released (might be there already?)

and all the rangers on their site have a lot of recent traffic.

I have a raptor that was built Feb 27 scheduled for convoy (truck) delivery based on the window sticker. I click on Ford chat and was told it is supposed to be delivered between March 5 and 11 but there was no convoy information available. Not sure what to make of that, guessing I've got at least a week or two left to wait?

where exactly did you see OFFICIAL OKTB published by Ford? The only mention I saw was a post here couple days ago claiming it was the 1st customer Ranger delivered, but other people commented that was a preproduction Ranger driven home by a Ford employee and not a retail unit delivered to a customer. That Original post seems to be gone now?

Ford Authority website has an article from 2 days ago referencing Ford official Feb sales report and saying NO RANGERS have been shipped even though they continue to build them. 1 thing to remember is they have a Media Embargo where any magazines or other media people aren't allowed to publish anything on the new 2024 until embargo lifted- then the flood gates of reviews open and are splashed everywhere. THAT hasn't happened either, so past experience would indicate OKTB is NOT official, and no Rangers allowed to be shipped yet. I could be wrong but nothing convincing out there says deliveries are on the way to dealers...

You, as a customer, will never see "OFFICIAL OKTB" announced and communicated.

The only reason those of us who ordered a Mustang got info on our OKTB status being achieved is because it just so happened the mother of someone who also had a factory order and is a Mustang enthusiast works pretty high up at Ford and didn't mind leaking the internal emails/reports they were included on about OKTB being achieved to her son.

I'm not sure it'll get updated at all. I don't think the system can adjust to delays. When my order went into production, it had a predicted delivery date, which I assumed was based on the blend date. When the delivery date didn't match those predictions, Ford Chat defaulted to saying that there is no delivery estimate. I'm assuming because there really is no more estimate.
