I’ve got a deposit on a ranger with window deflectors and my first thought is I don’t want them.

but do I?

I am thinking it might reduce buffeting?

I always put them on so i can have the windows down a little when its hot out but these added some wind noise on the highway, same as they did on our 2018 mazda3. They are the only two vehicles i have had that issue with. Its not terribly loud, its just more wind noise than before

I have the goodyear in channel ones, I dont notice any added noise. I have them so I can have the windows cracked for the dog in the backseat while driving in the rain. The rear ones the tape did fail right off the bat and I had to redo them, but the fronts have held on no problem.

I would try them on a rainy day. You might just like them. I had them on my last truck and they were useful. Some just dont like the look(dont listen to them) I never noticed any noise from them?

I'll be putting them on mine. I don't care about buffeting, as I don't open windows.

The reason I have them on vehicles is they mitigate sunlight issues when that infernal ball of gas is in the exact wrong position for the A pillar or visors to obscure. They're wonderful for that.

If our star bugs you at all, they're great to have. Auto Ventshade makes nearly flush-fit units if you're not into the full look. I'm not sure if they have them for the '24+ Ranger.

Could you attach some pics of your deflectors on your Ranger? I normally get the Weathertechs but the shipping is $60 from WT! Thank you
Sorry, I was referring to "mrjofus" and his in-channel Clim Art ones.
