Congratulations!

Nothing against a ‘24 Lariat — that’s a very nice truck as well — but as you are obviously aware, the RR is simply in another league as far as driving experience, hardware, and power.

As far as your ‘24 2.7 seeming faster than your ‘26 RR currently, Im sure others will chime in regarding break-in, the transmission learning period, etc. but I can assure you it will definitely open up and put a giant grin on your face.

Finally, for the number crunchers (I’m one of these as much as any other working person who supports a family), to be perfectly frank, the RR is a fantastic value as well considering the fit/finish (I know, I know, the recalls…) what you get for the money and its much lower rate of depreciation.

Well done OP. 🦖

Its going to feel a bit different because its heavier but trust me. It doesn't disappoint. Im hitting 80 mph like its nothing.

Also the exhaust will break in around 1500 miles or so and you'll notice its gotten louder.

Got me a new 26 Ranger Raptor
Now is there a mode for more power ?
My old 24 Ranger with a 2.7 is faster
Congrats! Have you tried sports mode? I left mine in normal mode until the break in period (1000 miles) then switched to sport mode. Really wakes the truck up! The Procal tune takes it up another notch.

It will be quicker than the 2.7 once broken in, but not by much. Weight is horsepower.

In real world passing and merging acceleration tests, the Raptor isn't appreciably faster than the 2.7. Out of the hole it absolutely is.

Yes I did I was driving nice though it had 6 miles on it
Congrats on your new truck. My previous truck was fx4 lariat with the 2.3, a great truck but my RR is a huge upgrade. Strongly recommend the FP tune. It diffinitely is a " more power button"

Procal on my wife’s 2025, big difference compared to my stock 2024. She doesn’t have the beadlocks on hers, a little weight savings, but not much.
