Has anyone mounted the camera on the license plate with the bracket?
I'm a little concerned of these these two things
  1. The tailgate will hit it when it is down
  2. the camera would cover too much of the license plate

I had my rear camera installed on the license plate on the top initially - it does not obscure the plate but did get hit when the tailgate was open. The installer flipped the tag bracket upside down and made two tiny holes in my bumper area (still need to replace with black screws)to use the bottom screw holes. It looks like this.

This is where I ordered them from:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/3863046879...7bcXmClSra&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

I’m also hoping these allow for a non obstructed front camera view being a different angle. This is what the front camera looked like with the Wolfbox mount and adapter looked like. I will report back once I try the other brackets.

Can you let us know what the company name is and #48 bracket name so I can search for it? The link you post doesn't work now on Ebay.

It came from eBay - this is the ad from when I bought in late April.

I added some foam between the plate and mirror and that did help but it’s not perfect. When the video is on I don’t notice vibration, only when the mirror is turned off. I read some were having better luck with a metal back plate so I am going to order the P6 as recommended on the WolfBox Facebook group: https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrRuNNv
Did this work?

I am ordering the mirror and bracket from ebay now, but I want to make sure this does not vibrate while driving. That would totally suck.

I read that comment when I ordered mine - I put a couple of pieces of black electrical tape on the part that attaches to the mirror and have not noticed any issues - it would make me crazy if it did ?

@SoCalMike Just order #48 bracket. Looking at your side view pic of the mirror and bracket installed, I'm wondering if the bracket could be heated up at the S curve part to drop it down enough so the plastic doesn't show up on the screen?
Does it seem the metal the bracket is made of would support heating it up or is it a pot metal type?

Working on my install now. Currently have it mounted over existing mirror. Was sent the bracket from Wolfbox but as stated it does not fit.

I think the vibration noted on mirror is the camera shaking and not the mirror itself. Mine is pretty noticeable mounted on the rear tag bracket. I'm debating moving the rear camera to a different location.

Yes, you just have to take the center clip off factory mirror and put it on the #48 mount.
I'm leaving today for trip out west. I'll contact you when I get back.
