Why are some dealers saying Orders aren't open yet? This is all a bit confusing

I ordered my '24 XLT online yesterday, since I got a Ford email invite, and the dealer called me within 10 minutes and said I must have made a mistake so they would look for a '23. I said the orders open on the 26th. They were unaware and skeptical.

They called back today (26th) and said yes, they were able to order a '24, and entered my exact truck. The clock started today at 16:42:17. They said deliveries are hopefully improving, to 3 to 4 months!!!! They want my 2019 XLT badly!

just ordered mine! MSRP. Only optioned the graphics package. I didn’t want any options holding it up and I would rather pick my own wheels if I upgrade. Can’t wait! It’s my first brand new vehicle. Should look good next to the gt350. ?

Can't be priority 10 and get pulled. 11-19 are for retail orders only. Must be 20-80 and 99 is a hold order

Priority code should be changed. It cannot have a retail priority code.

The raptor orders can’t be placed as retail?

No, a dealer bulletin came out saying stock orders only. A retail order will not be built or pulled. Must be changed to a stock unit. Priority code 20-80.
