Since the STX doesn’t come with a trailer brake controller (Smart move Ford, pushing people to the XLT ). What would you feel comfortable towing with the STX model?

If you get Tow, it’s still a class IV hitch, so you should be able to tow the same 7500 (I think?) lbs. as any of them. You’ll just have to install an aftermarket brake comtroller if your trailer size requires it. And you’ll have to back it up the ol’ fashioned way. But, y’know…

(Even in XLT, you have to get Advanced Tow or higher if you want the OEM brake controller… )

Right, but the point is, you can get one. It just won’t be integrated into the dash.

Except that priority codes 10-19 are reserved for retail orders and stock units are 20-80. In that the Raptor order needed to be stock, the code needed to be 20 or higher and be entered as a stock unit. If they are giving you their first Raptor. If they are putting it in for you to get sometime down the road I guess it doesn't matter. However the bulletin said no retail orders on Raptor.

So if what you say is correct I won't see mine till the second round ?

I also show priority code 10. My salesperson said I was getting their only one and likely could expect to have it in a few months with no his-ups. Clearly says retail but, she said it is their 1 allotted truck now being sold to me. B.S. you think ?

Possibly. If Ford holds to what was stated in their bulletin. But like with what happened with the bronco, who knows?

Mine was put in as stock, but they ordered it as I wanted and are allowing me to have it when it arrives.

We are also calling the Ford division rep about the bulletin next week and being sure nothing changed late in the game. But nothing has come down from Ford to contradict the bulletin as yet.

My sales person said I was getting their only allocation. I would hope they know what they are doing considering they have sold multiple Raptor models in the past. I digress....

I was told the auto start delete was due to the lack of chips. I personally am thrilled about it.

I don't think they will be avait to order until Q4 for 2024 delivery. Huge bummer for many.

I wouldn’t stress it, it’s a holiday weekend. Enjoy Memorial Day & expect it’ll come on Tuesday would be my guess.
