Seriously though, I imagine the 11/2 production resuming probably just means they are back in the shop and not necessarily building any.

Wonder why they are restarting scheduling for the Bronco on the 9th but the Rangers not until the 30th of November. There are already Bronco's on the lot but yet to hear of any Rangers. Kind of seems like they don't know how to build the Ranger in production mode yet or it's just filler work.
My guess is Bronco is an existing model, which infrastructure already in place, whereas the Ranger is still very much a new build.

Any chance we see build date come back in soon? Or y’all think they are what they are?

So much for the Ranger coming out late summer - now end of the year. Let’s see if Ford can get early production models in the hands of Mototrend, Car and Driver, and other reviewers to build some interest and excitement around the release of this vehicle before the balloon completely deflates. Meanwhile everyone is talking about the Tacoma.
Agreed. I am really wanting to see some reviews for this truck!

Press drives havent been scheduled yet and if not soon it may not be till Jan. Dec is a dead time for auto stuff
Well that’s a big bummer. I was hoping the media folks were driving the few Rangers that came off the lot back in early September, and that y’all just weren’t allowed to post your reviews until after the strike was resolved.

For what its worth, my dealer has been told this week by Ford Canada that the next Ranger production should start in march, including the raptors versions.

So they dont expect to have any Rangers at all before May over here, and seems like the Raptor production will be pretty limited from what they have been told.

With that said, It may be a totally different scenario for you guys in the USA....

well considering the lack of fanfare over this truck I could see them giving you guys the trucks next month
I think the lack of fanfare is due to lesser margins. Seems like smaller trucks are just seen as a way to get people in the door to try and upsell them on a full size truck.

One salesman even tried to tell me the 5g Ranger would have trouble with a 500 pound ATV, so I'd better get an F150 off their lot.

If that happens for us Canadians I may just cancel MY24 and get a MY25 as it would be a year since ordering.

I used to pull a 2500-pound side-by-side with my 94 ranger. It had about half the torque and horsepower of the 5g ranger. I don't remember having any issues.

Looks like scheduling got pushed back again, now no '24 Rangers being scheduled until 12/14 :frown: It seems that the Michigan Assembly Plant wants to clear out remaining '23 Bronco orders (before 2023 is over) before switching to the new Ranger.
