The unscheduled order bank numbers should be interesting this week given how orders were apparently scheduled last week. Also, it seems that many more people are scheduled with a VIN and might not even know it unless the dealer calls or they chat with Ford.

Why is it a surprise to you in any capacity that the week before Christmas shutdown there would be no scheduling? There will likely be no scheduling next week as well. There will be more scheduling after the first of the year.

It is truly amazing what a bunch of whiney crybabies you are on this forum.

nobody is being a crybaby. the scheduling doesn't make any sense. people who ordered later are getting scheduled then the people who ordered later. Hell somebody said they ordered in nov and got scheduled. I ordered july and people earlier than that are in the same boat. Its just a computer system that schedules. Not like anybody physically typing stuff in, that can be automated.

My understanding is the higher volume dealers are in line sooner as with F150's
The order system goes down the list of dealers choosing by dealer priority. (going by dealers lowest number code).
When the system gets to the last dealer on the list it goes back to the top.
So in some months a dealer may get 2 builds and other dealers get 1 or 0 depending on the number of build spaces available.

So if there are 3000 ford dealers and 1472 were scheduled for February when the system starts scheduling for March dealer number 1473 will be first.

This all depends if the dealer has a allocation.
No allocation you get skipped over.

Date ordered means nothing. It is all about dealer pecking order and allocations.

I hope this makes sense

My Lariat’s status, according to Ford Chat, is Unscheduled/Clean and has been approved to move to production. Hopefully I’ll get a build date and VIN after the holiday shutdown!

No surprise.

I don’t mind waiting. If I’m not scheduled by summer on raptor Im ordering a 2.7 XLT.

Similar, going to try and modify my order if the 2.7 pops up on build and price before I get a VIN.

Some of this is partly true, but I ordered my Ranger Raptor 10/25 from a very small dealership, that even before things changed with supply chain and other factors, had very little inventory. I’ve never seen more than 15-20 vehicles on their lot. My order is scheduled with a VIN and build date for the week of 2/12/24

Back when there were Mercury dealers.
We had one near me that never had more than 10-15 vehicles on the lot.
Turns out most of their sales were special order and they were a high volume dealer.
So your dealer could be the same situation.
I have no idea but I was just stating my understanding of how it all works.
And I am happy for you on your fast scheduling.
I ordered 11/24 and have a build week of 2/26.
We both were very lucky.

Don’t Blame FMC, blame your dealer for unreal expectations. My dealer promised me a RR but had no idea when it would arrive

I’m new to this Forum. Just ordered my Ranger Lariat on December 20th. Will be happy to get it by May. Anything earlier will be a bonus. Ordered it from Brandon Ford in Tampa. Got an email from Ford Corporate confirming my order and issuing an order number. Oxford White with tan leather interior, RWD with the electric Posi traction option, spray in liner for the bed, keypad door option, rear seat safe. There was no 2.7 engine option.
