After 3 days of negotiation, I got mine for MSRP. I ordered on 12/22, so I’m hoping to get it before Christmas 2024.

I'm most curious how the value of RRs are going to hold over the course of a year or two.

Will the value of them go up and hold that way for a while, or will they be similar to other vehicles and depreciate?

If people are truly paying $10-20k over sticker on them one would think that anyone who is lucky enough to get one at MSRP would see the value of their vehicle increase as soon as they drive off the lot. However, I am new to all of this because this is the first time I have ever ordered a vehicle of my own.

I understand that you were literally just asking a question. But for me, if I buy something I want. There’s a few things that have no effect on my decision, one is fuel efficiency and The other is value. Because if and when I do get this truck I have zero plans to sell it ever.

Found a dealer in Socal who has an allocation at 3 over (originally asked for 10 over). Will be doing paper work and putting down a deposit tomorrow.

No admin fee, as I would not pay one. Deal is for a few hundred back of msrp. But most dealers are unfortunately charging them. Either need great relationship with a dealer or patience to wait until more are made to avoid admin fees at most dealerships.

We will see how many are made and how popular they are or are not very soon, which will also determine whether or not they can still get people to pay admin fees.

Though I won't pay an admin fee, even with one, the Ranger raptor is still a bargain for what you get compared to the bronco or f150 versions and their far higher price tags.

Significantly below MSRP. Essentially dealer cost. RR, March 18th build date.

But I have an extensive relationship with this dealer. Both as a supplier and a major customer. So this is sort of a gift from them.

One dealer was trying to charge $10k over MSRP and another was taking the highest bidder in my area I was fortunate to find a dealer that charged no markup. Took the one allocation for that dealership, got confirmation from Ford two days later that they had the order and got a build date two weeks later. Scheduled for build date of March 25th. I was very lucky.

People are too used to 2020-mid2023 they forgot how this works. Prices on cars are tanking now back to normal levels

My first bronco did. My first Raptor did, my 2013 jeep rubicon 10th anniversary edition did.

So happens more than you're implying.
