Are "looking for" threads ok? :like:

Want to buy an RR, and not having much luck finding one in AZ w/o an ADM. Found one dealer and he sold his last one the same day I reached out. Tempted to order, but have concerns about delivery time. Ideally I'd prefer to get out of my current vehicle while the miles are low and the condition high. Sub'ed to Visor to help the search, but figured why not post here too.

Out of state is tricky due to shipping/travel costs. Unless I find one under MSRP, which I am not opposed to.

I got mine for about 2k under msrp a month ago. Since then, I’ve seen several others on these forums find them for under msrp as well. They are definitely out there.

edit: I’m located in TX, not sure if the market here is just better than in AZ.

I ran into the same issues as you are. I bought mine from a dealer 1400 miles away with 2 grand off

I had the same problem with the AZ dealers. They all wanted $5-10K over msrp. I bought mine out of state. I’m sue with a little effort you can find a dealer that will sell you one with a days drive, under msrp. Most every dealer has transports that will haul your new truck and the trade. Or drivers that will bring the new one and drive the trade back. Check with the dealer when you find the truck you want. Good luck.

Granger ford in Iowa charges invoice on orders assuming they have allocation, but you’d have to pickup.

My 26 order was $57367.60 with destination charge.

I have a Marsh Gray at MSRP if you're interested. But not really anywhere that could be considered "near" Arizona lol

Arizona dealers huff their own farts. They also don’t seem to understand that the internet exists and people can compare prices nationwide.

I’ve found Salt Lake City and Boise dealers to be much more transparent and have far fewer add-ons. They also have lower doc fees.

I bought my Ranger in SLC. $7,500 off. Zero add-ons. $299 doc fees. Some AZ dealers are up to $995 doc fees.

Flying to SLC or Boise and driving home takes you though some beautiful territory, too!

Phoenix is a whole world unto itself. There's enough people there that they don't really care if they lose a few sales to out of state dealerships. Someone there will pay what they're asking.
