Man, that seems like a LONG time to travel. Where is it being shipped to?My XLT FX4 is built as of yesterday (blend date of 4/12) and is now awaiting a train! Estimated arrival of 5-19 to 5-25!
Traveling to Colorado by rail.Man, that seems like a LONG time to travel. Where is it being shipped to?
Anyone else “pending an update”?
Ford online and phone chat keep telling me my delivery date is still scheduled for a month ago. For a truck that was built Mid Feb, and had a delivery date, nothing has come since and no one knows what the update means.
They keep telling me to contact the dealer, and I’m not sure if my dealer can’t see anything on Vinview, or if I annoyed the new salesman to the point that he just doesn’t check. Getting very annoyed.
Ours were built around the same time, I don’t even have built. Still in production with no check mark… Probably buried in that lot collecting rustsince 2/9 with just one update to "built" on 3/30
Not to worry you any more but I got hit with hail while I was in Teaxs.Mine is still setting in a rail yard in TX, waiting on truck transport or release so the dealer can pick it up, all making me very nervous setting outside in the start of hailstorm season in a Texas rail yard where I know Texas is known for its monster hailstorms.
I have seen a lot of the dealers in Texas have covered lots to protect their inventory from such hailstorms.
Yes. Mine had a January 23 blend date and is still "pending update" in Michigan. I ordered in May 2023, so we're coming up on a year soon. At this rate, it may be 2 years by the time it arrives.Anyone else “pending an update”?
I know it can happen anytime this time of year especially down there in Texas. Not to worry you anymore but I got hit with hail while I was in Texas.![]()
I was out looking at Rangers on various dealer sites yesterday and several (TX and OK that I recall for sure) had listed specific cash allowances for hail damaged 2024 Rangers. I saw up to $2500 off MSRP for the damage.I know it can happen anytime this time of year especially down there in Texas.
I think I have about worn my poor dealer manager out this past week calling and texting him trying to get the thing out of that rail yard and home where I can get it inside. LOL
I know we get hail here KS too, but I have the luxury of parking inside both at home and at the office.
So, I am pretty lucky in that I can keep my vehicles out of it for the most part.
