Let's Talk Tire Air Pressure! (Raptor)

What air pressure are you guys and gals running in your stock Raptor BFG AT KO3's? It seems as though many dealers aren't adjusting/lowering the pressure in the tires after shipping. What are you running for the best contact patch?

It's listed on a label or the driver side door jam, 39 psi.

I wouldn't count on the Dealership adjusting the tire pressure after it arrives.

My Bronco arrived with 50 psi in the tires and was shipped to me with the same psi. I had to adjust it down to 36 psi (the sweet spot for noise and ride, for me) once I got it into my garage.

Mine was at 45/46 cold... was feeling every bump until 42. Thinking I will get it to that 39 spec per the sticker.

39 psi made a huge difference. Mine were at 49 cold psi from the dealership.

I have an XLT, not a Raptor, but the dealership had them at 42 psi when they should be at 30. The drive home was punishing!

The ride improved a lot in my opinion not as bouncy smoother over bumps can't comment on gas mileage truck only has 400 miles and I do a lot of City driving.

I set mine at 32 cold and they heat up to about 38 ride is great now.

The European market has two tire pressure ratings, empty and full load. The same pressure applies to the 2 Liter Diesel (not available in the US) and 3 Liter EcoBoost.

Empty it is 36 psi (2.5 bar) front and rear.

Full load or towing is 36 psi (2.5 bar) front and 41 psi (2.8 bar) in the rear.

At 36 psi I found tire wear to be very even on my mostly unladen Ranger Raptor.
